George Sampsonidis is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist working primarily with painting and mixed media. His work explores the construction of images in an age shaped by mass media, advertising, and digital interfaces. Combining elements from art history, advertising, popular culture, and everyday imagery, he creates fragmented compositions that blur the boundaries between reality and simulation. Through both traditional oil painting and hybrid works incorporating light and display technologies, Sampsonidis investigates how images shape perception, desire, and memory.
